Proposing Events

The Creative Media Alliance of Colorado (CMAC) appreciates all the help and support we have received from volunteers and venue sponsors of the events we have put on to date. However, we also realize there are many worthwhile ideas in the community about events, and sectors of the community that may feel they are not being addressed. It is CMAC's intent to provide the most diverse and useful functions for the collective creative community.

While we continue to work on very interesting and exciting events for the future, we are also looking to the creative community for participation to provide suggestions (along with the concept's early development) for future event consideration.

Here's how it works! Have an idea that you feel would be of benefit to your sector of the creative community? Great! Now plant the seed, tell others about it, then get them to commit to supporting and attending the event! With your idea and list of committed attendees in hand, contact CMAC with your request to partner in making the idea a reality.

CMAC will work to further promote the event, garner additional attendees, handle event fee processing and collection, solicit volunteer support, handle venue acquisition, and facilitate other necessary logistics to make the event a success. It's that simple!

Please keep in mind that CMAC is not interested in just receiving ideas for an event. CMAC will not entertain any idea that doesn't have the above criteria attached to it, nor any event concept that will not directly benefit a sector or more of the creative community. Events that will benefit other non-profit organizations, appropriate non-political community causes, and special projects will be considered on a by-case basis. Properly packaged proposals, as outlined above, will receive serious consideration and CMAC's utmost support!
